Reports

Three useful outputs

Inspection Report

The full record of the walk. Each issue includes its photo, markup, location, trade, priority, status and relevant dates. Use it for client handover or as the dated record kept on file.

Snag List

The working list of outstanding items, ordered for the people fixing them. It is concise, printable and keeps the same issue references as the full report.

Quotation

The captured issues arranged for pricing remedial work, so the inspection can become a clear quotation without entering every item again.

What stays clear in every report

  • Your branding. Company logo, details and inspector name appear throughout.
  • Stable issue references. IS-014 in the app remains IS-014 in every export and reply.
  • Marked-up photos. The circle or arrow drawn on site appears beside the instruction, while the original image remains available in Snagwalk.
  • The order you set. The report follows the walk order or sequence chosen before export.
  • Status in words. Open, in progress and resolved are printed with their dates; colour is not the only way to read the state.

A focused list for each contractor

Filter the report by trade before generating it. The electrician receives the electrical items, the joiner receives the joinery items, and neither has to work through pages that do not apply to them. (This is rule six of writing a snag list contractors act on.)

CSV for existing workflows

Export the reference, title, description, location, trade, assignee, status, priority and dates to CSV. Clients can continue tracking close-out in Excel without asking you to re-enter the inspection.

A record of what was issued

Once generated, a report remains as it was sent. If the live issue changes afterwards, the earlier report still shows the state that was issued at that point in the job.

ENDNEXT WALK

Decide from the report, not the sales copy.

Open the sample, check the level of detail and see whether your clients and contractors could work from it.
