Construction: snagging & handover QA
The situation
A plot walk produces sixty snags across eight trades. Today that's a notebook, two hundred camera-roll photos, and an evening in Excel matching one to the other, then a week of "which door did you mean?" calls.
With Snagwalk
- Walk once, capture everything. One photo per snag, marked up on the
spot and numbered
IS-001onwards in walk order. - Contractor packs by trade. Filter to Electrical, generate, send. Mason Ltd gets their twelve items, numbered and photographed, and nothing else.
- Re-inspection is the same walk, shorter. Work the open list, mark resolved, capture the after photo. What's still open is the agenda for the next meeting.
- Close-out you can hand to the client. The final inspection report shows what was raised, what remains outstanding and what has an after photo; the record practical completion turns on.
Built for site conditions
